Princess Cruises’ Sun Princess Arrives for Inaugural Caribbean Season
Princess Cruises has proudly welcomed its latest ship, the magnificent Sun Princess, to North American waters, marking the start of an eagerly awaited Caribbean season. The impressive 177,882-ton, 4,300-guest vessel arrived in Fort Lauderdale this week after a successful maiden season in the Mediterranean.
Launched in February 2024, Sun Princess is celebrated as Princess Cruises’ most innovative vessel. It was christened in a star-studded ceremony in Barcelona, with actress Hannah Waddingham serving as the ship’s godmother. The vessel quickly gained acclaim for its groundbreaking design, exceptional culinary offerings, and world-class entertainment. A highlight for its inaugural Caribbean season is the debut of the Sanctuary Collection, which provides guests with exclusive access to serene retreats, premium amenities, opulent accommodations, and all-inclusive indulgences.
Starting October 14, Sun Princess will embark on a series of seven-day Caribbean voyages roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, featuring both Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries running through April 2025.
