Qatar Airways is set to transfer its Goa services from the existing Dabolim Airport (GOI) in South Goa to the newly inaugurated Manohar International Airport (GOX) in North Goa, starting 20 June 2024. The move aligns with the airline’s commitment to providing passengers with top-tier services and access to the latest airport facilities.

The transition will not affect the current flight schedule, as Qatar Airways will continue to offer daily direct flights to and from Goa, utilizing a combination of Airbus A320 and Boeing 787 aircraft. This strategic shift places Qatar Airways among the pioneering international airlines to commence operations at GOX, alongside its partners IndiGo and Oman Air.

Manohar International Airport, renowned for its advanced infrastructure, is strategically located near popular hotels and public transport links, promising a superior travel experience for passengers. The new airport is expected to significantly enhance accessibility and convenience for travelers visiting North Goa’s renowned tourist attractions.

Since initiating service to Goa in 2009, Qatar Airways has played a pivotal role in connecting Doha with Goa, fostering tourism and business exchanges between the regions. The airline’s move to Manohar International Airport further underscores its dedication to adapting its operations to benefit passengers and stakeholders alike.
