Qatar Airways Expands Flights to Amsterdam for Winter 2025

Qatar Airways has announced an expansion of its service to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) from Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH), adding four weekly flights for the winter 2025 season. This increase is in response to rising passenger demand from Amsterdam, particularly among travelers looking to escape to warmer destinations.

Starting from November 12, 2024, Qatar Airways will boost its Amsterdam service from 10 weekly flights to 14, accommodating an additional 40,000 passengers throughout the winter season, which runs until March 29, 2025.

“Qatar Airways is delighted to witness and serve the growing travel demand in the Dutch capital, which is an integral destination in our European network,” said Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways, in a statement. He emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing world-class service to travelers from Amsterdam, enabling them to connect with Qatar Airways’ extensive network of over 170 global destinations.

The new flight schedule will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, enhancing convenience for passengers. The details for the new winter schedule are as follows:

New Winter Schedule (Starting November 12, 2024):

• Flight QR275: Departing Doha (DOH) at 07:55, arriving in Amsterdam (AMS) at 13:00.
• Flight QR276: Departing Amsterdam (AMS) at 15:20, arriving in Doha (DOH) at 23:30.

In addition to the new flights, Qatar Airways will continue its existing winter schedule, which starts on October 27, 2024. This includes daily departures as well as additional flights on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Existing Winter Schedule (Starting October 27, 2024):

• Daily Service:
  • Flight QR273: Departing Doha (DOH) at 08:15, arriving in Amsterdam (AMS) at 13:20.
  • Flight QR274: Departing Amsterdam (AMS) at 15:05, arriving in Doha (DOH) at 23:15.
• Additional Flights on Monday, Friday, and Sunday:
  • Flight QR275: Departing Doha (DOH) at 06:10, arriving in Amsterdam (AMS) at 11:15.
  • Flight QR276: Departing Amsterdam (AMS) at 12:50, arriving in Doha (DOH) at 21:00.
