Qatar Airways Gulfstream G700 showcased at Paris Air Show
Qatar Airways Group’s Chief Executive, H.E. Mr. Akbar Al Baker, unveiled the airline’s new Gulfstream G700 aircraft on Monday 19 June at the Paris Air Show.
Qatar’s Minister of Transport, H.E. Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to France, H.E. Sheikh Ali bin Jassem Al-Thani, COO of HIA, Eng. Badr Mohammed Al Meer and Gulfstream Aerospace President Mark Burns were present at the unveiling.
Qatar Executive, the carrier’s luxury private jet charter division, became the international launch customer for the G700 in October 2019 and will introduce 10 of the jets into its fleet.
Gulfstream says its G700 business jet boasts sector-leading speed, range, luxury cabin features, avionics, reliability and safety. Its two Pearl 700 engines were developed by Rolls-Royce. The Qatar Executive cabins are meticulously crafted to ensure a sublime passenger experience which meets most discerning customers’ standards. The flexible cabin design provides an extra-large galley, crew compartment and up to five living or office areas. It also has a revolutionary lighting system, a lower pressure altitude, larger windows and lower cabin noise levels.
