Queen Elizabeth Homeports in Miami With New Look and Broadway Show

For the first time in its 185-year history, Cunard is homeporting a ship in Miami for a full Caribbean season. The newly refreshed Queen Elizabeth began her 2025–2026 program on October 16, departing PortMiami for her first voyage featuring nine-, 12-, and 21-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries through April 2026.
The season’s entertainment highlight is the first-ever at-sea production of Come From Away, the Tony Award-winning musical. Guests at the launch event enjoyed a preview performance and a panel featuring Kevin Tuerff, the real-life inspiration behind the character “Kevin T.,” alongside actor Joe Hillard, who portrays him in the show. The one-hour, 40-minute production, performed twice per voyage in the ship’s Royal Court Theatre, features a 12-member ensemble and has been specially adapted for the stage at sea.
As part of Cunard’s Artists in Residence program, guest performers will appear on select sailings. Notably, two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster will join the February 4, 2026, departure for a special performance.
Queen Elizabeth’s entertainment lineup also includes the Abbey Road Listening Lounge in the Commodore Club, offering a 60-minute sound journey via Bowers & Wilkins headphones, featuring tracks by The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, and iconic film scores. Guests can enhance the experience with curated cocktails. Additionally, a diverse roster of Insight Speakers—including Olympic medalists, astronauts, and actor Hugh Bonneville of Downton Abbey fame—will host lectures during select sailings.
Following a three-week refurbishment at Seatrium’s Admiralty Yard in Singapore, Queen Elizabeth features revitalized interiors, enhanced outdoor decks, and upgraded Grills suites. New offerings include the Pavilion Wellness Café serving plant-forward cuisine, the Harper’s Bazaar Wellness at Sea program with multi-day wellness packages, and the Karibe dining concept celebrating Caribbean flavors.
The ship’s Art Deco elegance pays tribute to Cunard’s storied heritage, with design elements referencing the original RMS Queen Elizabeth. Passengers can enjoy quintessential British experiences like afternoon tea in the Queens Room and pub classics at the Golden Lion. With over 2,600 tea bags brewed daily, Queen Elizabeth continues Cunard’s tradition of refined luxury infused with modern flair.
