Radisson Plans European Expansion of Lifestyle Brand Prizeotel

Radisson Hotel Group plans to bring its Prizeotel lifestyle brand to more European destinations, including the United Kingdom, the company announced this week at Berlin’s International Hospitality Investment Forum.

A self-described two-star “economy design” imagined by designer Karim Rashid, Prizeotel was acquired by Radisson in 2019. Prizeotel then had four properties in Germany; it since opened one property in Belgium and plans to open four properties in Germany and one in Austria this year.

Radisson said it seeks to expand the brand in “select” European Union countries and the U.K. with 45 new signings in the next five years. “We are looking forward to … and continuing our successful journey in EMEA which now also includes the rollout of Prizeotel in key European cities,” said Radisson global chief development officer Elie Younes in a statement.
