Reef expands with acquisition of 2ndKitchen

Ghost kitchen operator Reef Technology will acquire Chicago-based startup 2ndKitchen, which enables hotels, apartment buildings and other nonfood businesses to offer delivery from neighborhood restaurants. Reef operates delivery-only kitchen trailers that offer food from a range of established restaurant concepts and the acquisition of 2ndKitchen will help forge connections with local businesses.
