Relais & Châteaux Adds Five New Luxury Properties This Fall

Relais & Châteaux, the luxury collection of independent hotels and restaurants, has expanded its portfolio with five new properties this fall, marking a significant milestone as it celebrates its 70th anniversary. In addition to these new lodgings, the renowned brand has added 31 properties, including hotels, resorts, lodges, and restaurants, throughout the year, further solidifying its global presence in the luxury travel sector.

Laurent Gardinier, President of Relais & Châteaux, expressed his pride in the new additions: “For 70 years, our Association has pursued an unwavering quest for excellence, with the goal of nurturing a unique sense of place in hospitality and gastronomy. The five new properties include:

Relais & Châteaux Botanique Hotel Experience, Campos do Jordão, Brazil
Located in Brazil’s protected nature reserve, the Relais & Châteaux Botanique Hotel Experience offers guests the chance to immerse themselves in nature. The hotel features seven suites and 13 villas, and is an adults-only retreat for guests over 15 years old. Its amenities include a farm-to-table restaurant, a jazz bar, and a spacious spa. Guests can enjoy activities such as bird watching, horseback riding, and exploring the surrounding natural beauty.

Relais & Châteaux CasaMolle, Vicuña, Chile
Set on a 42-acre estate south of the Atacama Desert, Relais & Châteaux CasaMolle offers a luxury all-inclusive experience. The property features 24 rooms and boasts breathtaking views of the Elqui Valley and river. On-site amenities include a large outdoor swimming pool, a Chilean restaurant, and various activities like vineyard tours and river kayaking. The region is famous for its clear skies, making stargazing a must-do experience.

Relais & Châteaux Vetera Matera, Matera, Italy (Opening March 15, 2025)
Opening in March 2025, Relais & Châteaux Vetera Matera will be located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Matera. This 23-room hotel is set within the iconic Sassi cave dwellings, offering a unique blend of history and luxury. Guests can enjoy a restaurant, large terraces with panoramic views, and a relaxing spa.

Relais & Châteaux Hotel Diepeschrather Mühle, Bergisch Gladbach, Germany (Opening March 2025)
Relais & Châteaux Hotel Diepeschrather Mühle, set to open in March 2025, will be a 25-room retreat just outside Cologne. The hotel will feature two restaurants, including Chef Nelson Müller’s Bistro Müllers in der Mülhe, offering farm-to-table cuisine. Other amenities include a spa with an outdoor heated pool, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Relais & Châteaux Storfjord Hotel, Øvre Glomset, Norway
Located in the stunning Norwegian fjords, the 30-room Relais & Châteaux Storfjord Hotel offers guests incredible views and a range of seasonal outdoor activities. The hotel features a library, a spa with forest views, and a Scandinavian restaurant led by Chef Nils Flatmark. Activities like skiing, fishing, and hiking are available to enjoy throughout the year.
