Highgate has unveiled the Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa, marking the debut of the first Renaissance hotel in Hawaii. This landmark opening in the heart of Honolulu, near the Ala Moana Center and the island’s vibrant coastline, introduces a new level of luxury and innovation to Oahu. The 39-story hotel boasts 187 exquisitely designed rooms and suites, alongside 112 residences offering breathtaking views of the ocean and mountain ranges.

The hotel’s aesthetic, from hand-crafted wooden furnishings to locally sourced artwork, captures the essence of Hawaii’s spirit. Guests and residents will enjoy spacious accommodations with floor-to-ceiling windows, large bathrooms featuring deep soaking tubs and Toto washlets, and Aveda bath amenities. The premier residences are further enhanced with fully equipped kitchens, boasting Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, providing a touch of home-like convenience and luxury.

Matthew Grauso, the General Manager of Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa, emphasized the brand’s commitment to delivering a transformative experience that blends contemporary design, state-of-the-art amenities, and a residential feel. “With a strong commitment to transformative wellness, engaging art and culture, and masterful culinary programs, Renaissance Honolulu will ensure every stay is a journey into the rich tapestry of Hawaii,” said Grauso.

The hotel introduces the Navigator service, connecting guests with local experts and the best the island has to offer in dining, shopping, and sightseeing. At the core of Renaissance Honolulu’s offerings is a focus on wellness, highlighted by the Uhiwai Spa, Oahu’s first traditional Japanese ofuro, and personalized wellness rituals. A daily Mercedes shuttle service and customized pre-arrival grocery delivery enhance the guest experience.

Jennifer Connell, Vice President and Global Brand Lead for Renaissance Hotels, expressed pride in bringing the Renaissance brand to Oahu, highlighting the property’s role in supporting the neighborhood’s growth and showcasing local businesses and culture.

The Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa also features an impressive eighth-floor Sky Deck with full spa services, meditation gardens, a fitness center, a 25-meter lap pool, hot tubs, and a heated saltwater swimming pool. Culinary delights await at MARA, led by Patric Yumul, offering Mediterranean cuisine with a local twist, and SWAY, a poolside bar and grill. The Coral Club on the 15th floor provides guests with stunning ocean views, breakfast, refreshments, and evening cocktails.

This opening signifies a significant addition to Oahu’s hospitality landscape, promising guests and residents alike an unparalleled experience of luxury, wellness, and cultural immersion.
