The Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa, located in the Disney Springs Resort Area in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, has officially reopened its doors following a $25 million renovation. This full-service resort, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive portfolio, is now ready to welcome guests for accommodations, meetings, events, spa treatments, and dining experiences.

The renovated resort features 394 newly appointed guest rooms, offering modern comfort and style. It includes over 25,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, perfect for corporate events, weddings, and other gatherings. A highlight of the resort is the zero-entry pool and hot tub, designed for relaxation and enjoyment. Guests can also indulge in farm-to-table cuisine at the signature American Kitchen Bar & Grill.

One of the key features of the renovation is the expanded Indulged Spa + Wellness Retreat. This area offers a range of rejuvenating services and treatments designed to enhance guest wellness. The resort also includes a 5,000 square foot outdoor terrace ideal for events and group gatherings. Other updates include a state-of-the-art fitness studio, modernized guest rooms, and a refreshed lobby.

As an Official Walt Disney World Hotel, Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa provides guests with exclusive benefits such as a theme park shuttle service and early entry to Walt Disney World theme parks. The resort’s outdoor amenities include the pool, hot tub, and ground-level rooms with lanai-style accommodations that encircle the pool, creating a resort-style atmosphere.

Charlie Kingston, General Manager of the Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa, expressed excitement about the reopening. “We are delighted to offer a vibrant stay with elevated amenities and engaging activities,” said Kingston. “Our staff is deeply connected to the neighborhood, which is a key aspect of the Renaissance Hotels experience. We look forward to providing premium services to all our guests.”

The renovation project enlisted the expertise of Stonehill Taylor, a New York-based hospitality design firm. The design incorporates modern aesthetics that reflect Florida’s tropical essence, with a color palette inspired by local citrus groves. The resort’s interior features blue-green tones, crisp white, and terracotta accents. New carpeting, signage, and light fixtures enhance the corridors, while the rooms include unique design elements such as a ceiling that mimics a sun canopy. The pool bar continues the tropical theme with geometric palm-inspired tiles, updated loungers, and umbrellas.

The Renaissance Navigator, the brand’s on-property neighborhood expert, is available to help guests explore local attractions and discover hidden gems. This personalized service allows guests to build custom itineraries and experience the area’s unique offerings.

Conveniently located just 13 miles from Orlando International Airport, the resort is an ideal venue for intimate meetings, cocktail receptions, corporate retreats, weddings, and other special events. The newly opened terrace provides a versatile space for creative decor and programming, complementing the resort’s indoor and outdoor meeting options.
