Renewed, tribal-owned Las Vegas Palms nears encore

The iconic Palms Casino Resort is scheduled to catch up with major Las Vegas counterparts and reopen this month under the aegis of the first Native American tribe to own a casino in the city. Despite a $600 million makeover, the 766-room twin-tower property remained idle as the pandemic subsided until it was revived by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.
