Plans are moving forward to build the proposed OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark next to the First Americans Museum in Oklahoma City after a resolution that would provide tax increment financing of up to $102.2 million for the project was approved Tuesday by the city council. The $342 million project is expected to open in the second quarter of 2024 and include a 100,000-square-foot indoor water park, a 4.5-acre outdoor adventure lagoon, a 33,000-square-foot family entertainment center and an 11-story, 404-room hotel.
