Retailers come through on 15 Percent Pledge

Gap and Macy’s are among the 25 companies that took the 15 Percent Pledge, vowing since the murder of George Floyd to dedicate more shelf space to products from Black-owned businesses. The pledge has raised the profiles of entrepreneurs like Cora Miller, who started Young King Hair Care to create better hair products for her son and other kids, and is now selling her products at Target and Walmart.
