RevPAR snapshot shows first pre-pandemic leap for hotels

Revenue per available room for US hotels rose 5.7% last week compared to the same period in 2019, according to STR, marking the first time the industry topped pre-pandemic levels. Leisure travel led the way and is expected to remain robust in the near term, but business bookings aren’t projected to follow suit before fall.
