Brothers Christian, Victor and Bryson Yarbrough have opened Kentucky’s first Black-owned distillery, Brough Brothers, in Louisville and are set to fill its inaugural barrels of bourbon this winter and welcome visitors beginning in spring. “At a time in history when there is much attention on Louisville, we are excited to represent positive change and hope for and on behalf of our city,” said CEO Victor Yarbrough, adding that Brough Brothers will move distribution beyond retailers including Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Kroger and Total Wine & More in Florida, Indiana, Colorado, Tennessee and Kentucky to 20 more states early this year.
