RLJ Lodging Trust acquires Denver hotel

RLJ Lodging Trust has sold the DoubleTree Hotel Metropolitan New York City for gross proceeds of $169 million and acquired the Moxy Denver Cherry Creek hotel in a $51.3 million deal. RLJ CEO Leslie Hale said the business has “entered 2022 with substantial investment capacity, which will allow us to continue to execute on both external and internal growth initiatives throughout the year.”
