Royal Caribbean International’s upcoming ship, the Utopia of the Seas, will be the next Oasis Class ship to debut in July 2024 when it begins 3- to 4-night sailings from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Bookings for the new ship open on June 22 for Crown & Anchor Society loyalty members and June 23 for the general public.

The new ship will be the first Oasis Class ship to be powered by Liquid Natural Gas and will offer over 40 dining and drinking options, the largest and longest dry slide at sea and five pools to satisfy everyone in the family.

New dining options include an immersive dining experience, an upgraded Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, now offering two floors overlooking the Boardwalk; and an enhanced teppanyaki restaurant with Izumi and Izumi in the Park, featuring outdoor seating in Central Park.

A new bar concept is the Pesky Parrot, a Caribbean-themed bar located on the Royal Promenade. It’ll offer the best of Caribbean libations, including rum, tequila and frozen drinks.

Accommodations will offer something for every travel style, with twenty different configurations to choose from. Views range from ocean views to neighborhood views overlooking Central Park or the Boardwalk. An all-new suite option arrives with the Utopia as well: Solarium Suites.

“Vacationers are looking to make every moment count by celebrating and recharging with their friends and family, and Utopia of the Seas makes all that possible in more ways than one,” Royal Caribbean CEO Michael Bayley said.

“With the variety of dining, bars, pools, entertainment and thrills that make Oasis Class ships revolutionary and the experiences to match on our private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, we’ve combined the best of the best to create the world’s biggest weekend for everyone,” Bayley continued.
