Royal Caribbean Launches Vibrant Ferries for Paradise Island

Royal Caribbean International is adding even more color to its newest private destination, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas, set to open in December. Guests visiting the exclusive island will travel there aboard a fleet of bright, custom-designed water ferries that reflect the lively Bahamian spirit.
The new fleet consists of five lightweight aluminum vessels, each with a distinct design and personality: Flirty Flamingo (pink), Sassy Starfish (blue), Coral Calypso (orange), Twisted Turtle (green), and Lucky Lizard (turquoise). The ferries, operated by Bahamas Transport Logistics—a 100% Bahamian-owned company specializing in marine transportation—will shuttle guests between Nassau and the island in style.
Philip Simon, president of Royal Caribbean Group Bahamas, said the new vessels highlight the cruise line’s commitment to authenticity and sustainability. “We are dedicated to providing an exceptional, sustainable, and authentically Bahamian experience for our guests,” Simon noted. “These vessels reflect our focus on operational excellence, innovation, and seamless connections between ship and shore.”
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island will feature two beaches, three pools, three beach grills, and 10 bars—including what Royal Caribbean calls the world’s largest swim-up bar. Admission will include roundtrip ferry transportation, Wi-Fi, lounge chairs, towels, umbrellas, lockers, and beach games.
Among the island’s highlights is the Ultimate Family Cabana, Royal Caribbean’s first multi-level cabana complete with a slide, frozen drink machine, and a private attendant. Guests can also book beach and poolside cabanas or reserve a section of The Party Deck—a poolside retreat for up to 12 guests with exclusive dining and beverage service.
Royal Beach Club Paradise Island marks the next step in Royal Caribbean’s expansion of private resort-style destinations. The cruise line will follow this debut with Royal Beach Club Cozumel in 2026, Lelepa in the South Pacific in early 2027, and Perfect Day Mexico later that same year.
By blending vibrant local design, convenient transportation, and signature amenities, Royal Caribbean is redefining the private island experience—offering guests a seamless blend of Bahamian culture and modern luxury from the moment they step aboard the ferry.
