Royal Caribbean to Open New Royal Beach Club Santorini in 2026

Royal Caribbean Group has announced plans to expand its portfolio of private destinations with the debut of Royal Beach Club Santorini, set to open in summer 2026. The new beachfront retreat will welcome guests from both Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises as part of an enhanced “Ultimate Santorini Day” experience combining leisure, culture, and exploration.

“Expanding our Royal Beach Club Collection to include Santorini—one of the world’s most beautiful and sought-after destinations—is a bold step in growing our vacation portfolio from two to eight by 2028,” said Jason Liberty, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. “We’re thrilled to connect guests with Santorini’s iconic villages, Aegean Sea views, and beach club culture for a truly authentic island experience.”

Designed to help ease visitor congestion across Santorini, the new beach club will allow guests to begin their island adventure from three different starting points, offering a smoother flow and more personalized experience.

“Santorini is an incredible destination that our guests love to explore, and with this new beach club, we can showcase the island’s best features while delivering the signature Royal Caribbean service our guests expect,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International.

The Santorini project is part of Royal Caribbean’s broader global expansion of private destinations. The company’s first Royal Beach Club—Paradise Island in The Bahamas—opens in December 2025, followed by Royal Beach Club Cozumel in 2026, Perfect Day Mexico in 2027, and Royal Beach Club Lelepa in 2028.

Royal Caribbean already operates two exclusive island experiences: Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas and Labadee in Haiti. The company is also expanding its luxury portfolio with The Cormorant at 55 South, a new boutique hotel in Chile designed for Silversea’s Antarctica guests.

With the upcoming Santorini opening, Royal Caribbean continues to redefine destination experiences—blending local culture, sustainability, and luxury into unforgettable days ashore.
