RoyalJet, a leading business aviation airline, has entered into a significant partnership with Airbus by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the acquisition of up to nine ACJ320neo corporate jets. The agreement, announced on December 11, 2024, was officially signed during the MEBAA Show 2024 at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai, marking a pivotal moment for both companies in the premium private aviation sector.

Under the MoU, RoyalJet will purchase three ACJ320neo jets initially, with the option to acquire an additional six aircraft. This strategic move aligns with RoyalJet’s commitment to enhancing its fleet and elevating its service offerings to meet the growing demand in the business aviation market. The ACJ320neo, part of Airbus’s renowned ACJneo Family, boasts a spacious 96 m² floor area and a remarkable range of up to 6,750 nautical miles, allowing for ultra-long-haul flights of approximately 15 hours.

Shafiul Syed, CEO of RoyalJet, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating, “The business aviation market and the demand for private jets are growing. As part of our unwavering commitment to provide the RoyalJet brand of service excellence to customers, we are constantly looking at how we can further elevate our level of service and add a new dimension to our market offering.” Syed further expressed optimism about the deal, adding, “We are looking forward to progressing this deal in the near future and being able to deliver a whole new travel experience to customers. We wish to thank our counterparts at Airbus Corporate Jets for working closely with us in making this MoU possible.”

Chadi Saade, President of Airbus Corporate Jets, highlighted the benefits of the ACJ320neo for RoyalJet. “With this first significant agreement for the ACJ320neo, RoyalJet will become the latest Airbus Corporate Jets Family customer. As a leader in the premium private aviation sector, we are delighted with RoyalJet’s decision to select the ACJ for its next chapter in growth. The ACJ320neo, with its unmatched cabin space, superior comfort, and cutting-edge technology, will enable RoyalJet to provide exceptional travel experiences for its customers, at the lowest fuel burn of any aircraft in its class,” Saade commented. He added, “It is the perfect choice for connecting business leaders where it matters, when it matters – fostering trade, collaboration, and innovation across global business communities. We will support RoyalJet’s introduction of this new aircraft type into its fleet and look forward to supporting its continued success.”

The ACJ320neo is renowned for its fuel efficiency, advanced avionics, and luxurious cabin configurations, making it an ideal choice for business executives seeking both performance and comfort. The aircraft’s flexibility allows RoyalJet to tailor its interior to meet the specific needs of its discerning clientele, ensuring a bespoke travel experience that aligns with the highest standards of private aviation.

RoyalJet’s current fleet comprises 12 Boeing Business Jets and three Bombardier Global aircraft, positioning the airline as a prominent player in the business aviation market. The addition of the ACJ320neo will further diversify the fleet, enhancing RoyalJet’s ability to offer a wider range of flight options and services to its global clientele.

The MoU signed at the MEBAA Show 2024 underscores the strategic partnership between RoyalJet and Airbus, aimed at driving growth and innovation in the private jet sector. As the demand for private aviation continues to rise, RoyalJet’s investment in the ACJ320neo fleet demonstrates its dedication to maintaining a competitive edge and delivering unparalleled service excellence to its customers.

RoyalJet plans to finalize the purchase of the initial three ACJ320neo jets and evaluate the potential expansion of the fleet with the additional six aircraft. This expansion is expected to support RoyalJet’s ambitious growth plans, enabling the airline to cater to an increasing number of high-profile clients and expanding its reach to new and existing markets.

In conclusion, the MoU between RoyalJet and Airbus marks a significant advancement in the business aviation industry, highlighting the ongoing demand for sophisticated and efficient private jets. With the introduction of the ACJ320neo, RoyalJet is well-positioned to enhance its service offerings, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of the premium private aviation market.
