Royalton to Manage Two Cancun Resorts in December

Royalton Hotels & Resorts will officially take over management of Royalton Riviera Cancun and Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun on December 7, 2025, as part of its rebranding from Blue Diamond Resorts. The transition coincides with the completion of extensive renovations and the reopening of both properties.
The family-friendly Royalton Riviera Cancun and the adults-only Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun will reopen with refreshed spaces tailored to their respective audiences. According to the company, the updates are designed to elevate guest experiences while preserving the core features that have made the resorts popular with travelers.
Among the renovation highlights is the upgraded Diamond Club suite category, which now offers exclusive beach areas, private lounges, and personalized butler service. The Chairman Building suites have also been redesigned to provide guests with enhanced privacy, space, and sophistication.
“Royalton Riviera Cancun has long been a favorite for travelers worldwide,” said Jordi Pelfort, president of Royalton Hotels & Resorts. “With Royalton Hotels & Resorts now leading the way, and backed by significant renovation investment, we are excited to bring a renewed vision that enhances everything our guests and partners love to a resort that has defined the region.”
Both resorts will remain part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, allowing guests to take advantage of Marriott Bonvoy benefits, including loyalty points and elite member perks. The move strengthens Royalton’s position in Cancun’s competitive resort market, combining modernized luxury with brand recognition under its new identity.
