Russia’s Aeromeditsina Acquires HS-125 for Medevac Operations

Aeromeditsina has acquired its first HS-125-700B to launch dedicated medevac operations in Russia, becoming the country’s first business aviation operator focused exclusively on air medical services. The start-up received its operating certificate (#AON-08-25-159) on March 10, 2025.
The newly acquired RA-02808 (msn 257184) is a 42-year-old aircraft last active on February 4, 2025, flying under the Weltall-Avia (WLL) code between Moscow Vnukovo and Sochi. The jet has been parked at Vnukovo Airport since then and is yet to begin operations under Aeromeditsina. The aircraft is configured to carry up to five passengers and transport two medical units for emergency evacuations.
Founded in April 2024, Aeromeditsina is backed by Artem Nikolaevich Mordvinkin (75%) and CEO Alexander Alexandrovich Belyakov (25%). The company secured a RUB 100 million (USD 1.2 million) loan from Sberbank, with a RUB 49.5 million (USD 585,000) guarantee from the state-owned SME Corporation.
Meanwhile, Weltall-Avia continues to operate a fleet that includes another HS-125-700B, along with a BAe-125-800B, CRJ200LR, HS-125-700A, three Hawker 800XPi, and one Hawker 850XP, according to ch-aviation data.
Aeromeditsina’s launch marks a significant step in Russia’s air ambulance sector, improving medical evacuation services with dedicated aircraft.
