RwandAir is set to enhance its customer service by relocating operations to Terminal 4 at Heathrow Airport. This move, effective April 3, is part of a broader initiative by Heathrow Airport’s management to optimize airport operations and improve the travel experience for passengers flying to and from Rwanda.

The shift to Terminal 4 allows RwandAir’s passengers, especially those in premium classes, to enjoy superior amenities, including access to the Plaza Premium Lounge. This lounge offers a variety of comforts such as freshly prepared hot and cold food, a fully tended bar, and shower facilities equipped with essential amenities, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable pre-flight experience.

Simon Rickman, Regional Manager for the UK and EU at RwandAir, commented on the move, stating, “The relocation to Terminal 4 will not only improve our operations but also elevate our customer service. We are preparing to operate daily flights from Heathrow starting April 29, and our customers will benefit greatly from easy access to all gates at Terminal 4, which promises a seamless service with shorter walking times.”

RwandAir, which commenced its operations at Heathrow Airport in October 2020, currently offers six direct flights per week to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. The move to Terminal 4 is anticipated to further bolster RwandAir’s commitment to providing a smooth and efficient travel experience for all its passengers.
