Sabre Unveils SabreMosaic to Streamline Booking Systems for Travel Agencies

Sabre has launched SabreMosaic Travel Marketplace, a new AI-powered platform designed to address fragmentation in travel agency operations by unifying access to diverse booking systems. The announcement follows a recent global study by Sabre revealing that over 90% of travel agencies use four or more booking systems, with some using as many as 10 or more.

SabreMosaic aims to simplify the booking process by bringing together the industry’s broadest range of travel content—from NDC airlines and low-cost carriers to hotels, car rentals and rail providers—into a single platform. It features built-in AI tools for smarter content recommendations and a cloud-native, content-agnostic architecture that supports offer and order workflows.

“Travel agencies shouldn’t have to stitch together a dozen systems just to do their job,” said Garry Wiseman, chief product and technology officer at Sabre. “SabreMosaic cuts through that complexity with a single, intelligent platform.”

Sabre’s April–May survey of 500 travel agents in 14 countries highlighted operational pain points caused by multi-system setups, including rising tech costs, slower onboarding, agent frustration, and inconsistent customer experiences. Agencies reported increasing system counts over the past three years, particularly among larger firms in Asia Pacific.

More than 80% of agents surveyed said a unified platform would help reduce technology costs, while 91% expressed interest in AI for boosting productivity and customer satisfaction.

With access to 38 NDC airlines, 150+ low-cost carriers, 2 million lodging options, and over 70 car and rail providers, SabreMosaic aims to deliver both scale and simplicity in an increasingly complex travel ecosystem.
