San Diego hotel strike halted as Comic-Con opens

Workers at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel ended their brief strike late Wednesday, the eve of the first full day of the Comic-Con convention. A spokesperson for Unite Here Local 30 said a tentative agreement was reached that “addresses the many issues our hotel workers are experiencing in this tough economic environment.”
