Sandals Resorts has announced that it is undertaking a room renovation project at its two Barbados properties, Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados. This initiative is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and maintaining excellence across its portfolio of resorts.

The renovation work will focus on room upgrades and maintenance in select categories, continuing through the remainder of the year. Despite the renovations, both resorts will remain fully operational, offering guests the same level of service and amenities during this period.

According to Sandals Resorts, all services—such as the expansive pools and the 21 restaurants available across both properties—will remain open and ready to welcome guests. The company assured that affected guests will be accommodated in alternative rooms and, when possible, will be upgraded to a higher room category. Additionally, guests who prefer can opt to transfer to one of Sandals’ 15 other resorts across the Caribbean or reschedule their stay for a later date of their choice.

Sandals Resorts operates in multiple Caribbean destinations, including Saint Vincent, Curacao, Barbados, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Bahamas, and Antigua. Its newest resorts are located in Saint Vincent, Curacao, and Jamaica.

Sandals Royal Barbados, located on Maxwell Beach in St. Lawrence Gap, opened in 2017 and features many signature accommodation categories, such as the first-ever Rondoval Suites, Crystal Lagoon Suites, Skypool Suites, Millionaire Suites, and Swim-up Suites. Sandals Barbados, which opened in 2015, is situated on Dover Beach and is just a 15-minute drive from Grantley Adams International Airport.

These ongoing room renovations reflect Sandals’ dedication to providing guests with the highest quality accommodations and maintaining a top-tier resort experience.
