UK-based SaxonAir Charter has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Citation XLS+, registered as G-VJTA (msn 560-6165), under its British Air Operator Certificate (AOC), according to ch-aviation research.

The 10.6-year-old jet was previously operated by VistaJet Germany as D-CAHO and last flew under the ‘VJH’ code between Dublin Weston and Bournemouth on December 6, 2024. It has since been parked. VistaJet continues to operate six Citation XLS+ jets and a Citation XLS Gen2 in Germany.

With this latest acquisition, SaxonAir Charter now operates nine fixed-wing aircraft under its AOC, including:

  • Citation Jet
  • Citation Jet 1
  • Citation Jet 1+
  • Citation XLS+ (new addition)
  • Learjet 40
  • Learjet 45XR (two aircraft)
  • Learjet 75
  • Phenom 300 (recently reinducted)

Additionally, SaxonAir operates seven helicopters under a separate AOC. The company also owns another Learjet 45 and a second Phenom 300, though they are currently unavailable for charter.

This fleet expansion aligns with SaxonAir Charter’s continued growth in the UK’s private aviation market, enhancing its offerings for business and leisure travelers.
