The range of itinerary offerings on the world’s first Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse, just got bigger as Scenic has unveiled its 2023-2024 Caribbean Collection. This foray into one of the USA’s largest travel destinations will open the door for guests to explore some of the more remote possibilities, only accessible to the smaller ships. Ports such as Darby Island, Egg Island and Long Island in The Bahamas, Puerto Rico’s Isla de Culebra, Grenadine’s Mayreau, and Isla de Providencia in Colombia, among others promise a more intimate experience. And booking early can save up to 20 percent off the cruise fare (fares listed below reflect the savings).

What sets Scenic Eclipse itineraries apart from other brands is the ability of the yacht to go just about anywhere—combined with an ultra-luxury onboard experience. Guests visiting these pristine destinations have easy access to land via a fleet of zodiacs, can explore the coast on paddleboards and kayaks, venture under the surf for up-close views of marine life and colorful coral sea beds in the yacht’s six-guest submarine, Scenic Neptune, or soar over the jungles and turquoise waters in one of two state-of-the-art, six-guest helicopters.

Guests can enjoy a slew of Caribbean sunsets on the nine-day Turks & Caicos Islands to Jamaica sailing, departing Nassau on October 23, 2023. Combining ports of The Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, and Jamaica. Guests are invited to enjoy glass-bottom kayaks in the mangroves and small caves of Providenciales, behold the site of 80,000 West Indian flamingos take flight on Little Inagua Island, and amble down Port Antonio’s Great River on a bamboo raft. Or pull up a beach blanket and swim and snorkel off the white sand beaches of Egg Island. Fares start at $7,823.

The 11-day Iconic Panama Canal voyage takes guests from Montego Bay to Panama City via a full transit of the Panama Canal with calls at Isla de Providencia, Colombia, where evenings are spent at a reggae bar, baseball game, or a restaurant; the multi-cultural Bocas del Toro, Panama; San Blas Islands, still governed by the Guna indigenous group; and Isla San José, named for the abundance of pearls found off its shores. Guests can snorkel at Cayo Coral and explore the natural beauty and wildlife of these coral gardens before relaxing at Zapatilla Cayes. Join a local boat tour for an adventure up a mangrove channel, giving you the opportunity to see sloths, caimans, and rare tropical birds. Prices start from $8,227 per person, double for the October 31, 2023 departure.

The 11-day Bermuda & The Bahamas – departing Boston and ending in Nassau, combines the centuries-old history of these idyllic ports with the opportunities to swim in the crystal-clear warm waters, snorkel over the coral reefs, and just sit back on board the ultra-luxury Scenic Eclipse with a book and a whisky. The sailing, departing on October 13, 2023, and stopping in Hamilton, St. George’s, Darby Island, and Egg Island, is priced from $8,166.
