Scenic Group to Offer Travel Protection With Allianz Partners

Scenic Group, parent company of Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises, has announced a new partnership with Allianz Partners to provide guests with comprehensive travel insurance options.

Travelers booking with Scenic Group can now purchase Allianz travel protection during the reservation process, gaining coverage for unexpected trip cancellations, interruptions, delays, lost baggage, and medical emergencies. The plan also includes access to Allianz’s Allyz mobile app, which offers travel assistance and support throughout the journey.

Guests who purchase coverage will benefit from services such as in-person or virtual doctor consultations, 24/7 global travel assistance, and access to Global Doctor Visits. Scenic Group emphasized that insured travelers can receive a 100 percent reimbursement of non-refundable trip costs if cancellations or interruptions occur for covered reasons.

Muskat added that the collaboration strengthens Scenic Group’s positioning in the luxury cruise market by offering added security alongside premium experiences.

Travel advisors will also benefit from the partnership. Those who book cruises and Allianz travel protection for clients before the end of the year are eligible for a special incentive, further encouraging advisors to include insurance in the booking process.
