Scholars Group likely to buy pair of Penn State hotels

Penn State University plans to sell the famed Nittany Lion Inn and The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center in State College this fall, with business to continue at both properties. Scholar Hotel Group, which opened a 72-room hotel in downtown State College last year, is the “preferred partner” in the deal, the university says.
