Seabourn Adds Extra Antarctica Cruise for Spring 2026
Seabourn has announced an additional departure for its Antarctica cruises due to strong demand. The new 11-day voyage on the Seabourn Venture is scheduled for March 10-21, 2026.
“Our Antarctica expedition voyages are incredibly popular,” said Robin West, vice president and general manager of expeditions for Seabourn. “We encourage guests to seize this opportunity to explore this remarkable continent and learn about the historic voyages of explorers like James Weddell, Otto Nordenskjöld, and Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen.”
The Antarctic cruise season typically spans from November to March. The new March departure offers travelers a chance to witness the stunning landscapes transitioning into winter. This time of year is particularly favorable for observing peak whale activity, with potential sightings of humpback whales and orcas, as well as gentoo penguins and Antarctic fur seals.
During the 2025-26 season, both Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit will operate Antarctic cruises, with itineraries ranging from 11 to 21 days. Each cruise begins with a hotel stay in Buenos Aires and includes a charter flight to Ushuaia, with return flights also provided.
Additionally, Seabourn offers the “Image Masters” program, where guests can enhance their photography skills through workshops led by an onboard nature photographer. The program covers photo composition, camera techniques, editing, and retouching.
