Search begins for new charity partner at Aberdeen International Airport
Aberdeen International Airport is on the lookout for a new organisation to become the airport’s official charity partner.
Charities are being asked to get in touch with the north-east’s major transport hub to put their organisation forward
Staff at Aberdeen International Airport will be given the final choice via a vote for the charity partner.
Any partnership will see the airport commit future fundraising events and donations to the preferred charity.
A spokesman at Aberdeen International Airport, said: “As we recover from the Covid-19 pandemic we are keen to get back to normality at our airport.
“There are a number of worthy charities out there who do some incredible work for their communities.
“We are keen to talk to charities who may be able to provide volunteering opportunities to our staff going forward.
“Aberdeen International Airport will also encourage our staff to fundraise for our chosen charity and provide support to them to do so.”
Tens of thousands of pounds were raised with the last charity partnership with Befriend a Child which came to an end in 2020.
