Serbia Revokes Tinadar Aviation’s Operating License

The Serbian Civil Aviation Directorate has suspended the operating license of Tinadar Aviation, putting the company’s two Citation Jets and Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) up for sale.
The affected Citation Jets, YU-BUZ (msn 525-0118) and YU-SAI (msn 525-0115), were both manufactured in 2009. The last recorded flight of YU-SAI under Tinadar’s ‘NAD’ code was on September 9, 2024, between Kraków and Ljubljana. YU-BUZ last operated commercially on November 18, flying from Podgorica to Ljubljana before being relegated to private operations.
Meanwhile, Tinadar Aviation’s Citation Jet 3 (YU-BTN, msn 525B-0193) has been transferred to Flyus (FUU), a newly licensed Serbian operator. The aircraft, previously part of Tinadar’s fleet since August 2024, now operates alongside another Citation Jet 3 at Flyus.
Despite the suspension of its operating license, Tinadar Aviation continues to hold a valid Serbian AOC and remains registered as an active business in Serbia. The company is fully owned by Latvian citizen Arnolds Mingis and serves as the parent company of Slovenia’s Alar Aviation, which operates a Citation S/II, currently parked in Ljubljana since November 2024.
In 2024, Serbia’s aviation regulator also suspended the AOCs of three operators, leaving only four active private jet carriers in the country: Flyus, MPC Air, Prince Aviation, and Skybridge International.
