SF Airlines expands freighter fleet to 72 aircraft
China-based SF Airlines has expanded its freighter fleet to 72 aircraft.
The cargo airline said it recently put a 767-300BCF cargo plane into operation, according to Xinhua, China’s state press agency.
This is the second freighter joining the fleet in June, said SF Airlines. The airline put its 70th aircraft into action last month.
In the first half of this year, the cargo airline added four freighters into its fleet, including three 767-300BCFs and one 757-200F.
Last year SF Airlines added a total of seven freighters to its fleet.
The airline has been expanding its transport capacity and air-route network to provide efficient and stable transport services for diverse products, especially fresh agricultural products.
SF Airlines is also jointly developing a huge 2.4m tonne capacity cargo airport in Ezhou, which will connect its regional and international services covering Asia Pacific, Europe and the US.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, SF Airlines is the aviation branch of China’s express delivery giant SF Express.
