Shanghai Airlines Launches New Route to Morocco
Shanghai Airlines is enhancing connectivity between China and North Africa with the introduction of a new one-stop flight to Morocco, set to commence later this month. Beginning January 19, the airline will expand its existing Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) to Marseille Provence Airport service by adding a stop in Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport. This new route will be serviced three times weekly using the advanced Boeing 787-9 aircraft, offering passengers a comfortable and efficient travel experience.

Once operational, there will be approximately 28,100 two-way weekly seats available between China and North Africa. This represents a substantial year-on-year increase of 22%, and an impressive rise of nearly 20,000 weekly seats compared to 2019 levels.
