Shuttered Austin, Texas, hotel to ease homelessness

The Austin, Texas, City Council has entered into a $1.36 million contract with a local nonprofit to convert a vacant hotel to supportive housing for homeless people with disabilities. The Austin Travis County Integral Care organization will provide a range of services after renovating the former Texas Bungalows Hotel & Suites.
