Marriott International is acquiring 19 resorts with nearly 7,000 rooms in the Caribbean and Central America from Sunwing Travel Group as a vote of confidence in post-pandemic vacation resurgence. “There is enormous pent-up demand for those destinations,” Marriott executive Tony Capuano says.
