Silver Air Expands Fleet with First Citation Latitude Addition

Silver Air, based in Santa Barbara, California, has added its first Citation Latitude to its Part 135-certified fleet, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing expansion. The aircraft, registered as N532JM (msn 680A-0370), joined the fleet in October 2024, according to ch-aviation research.

The one-year-old jet, capable of carrying up to eight passengers, was previously privately operated in the U.S. and was not Part 135-certified before its addition to Silver Air’s roster.

With this latest inclusion, Silver Air now operates a diverse fleet of 23 aircraft under its certificate. The lineup includes two Challenger 350s, one Citation Excel, one Citation Jet 2, one Citation Jet 3, the newly added Citation Latitude, one Citation Mustang, one Citation Ultra, three Citation X, one G200, three G550s, one GV, two Global 5000s, two Global Express, one Hawker 400XP, one Hawker 800XPi, and one Phenom 300.

In a recent interview, Silver Air emphasized its focus on expanding its fleet while maintaining a business model centered on managing aircraft with heavy charter availability. The addition of the Citation Latitude aligns with the company’s strategy to offer premium services and cater to a growing client base.
