La Dame, the elegant French fine-dining venue aboard Silversea’s new Silver Ray cruise ship, has been awarded the prestigious “Award of Excellence” in the 2025 Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards. The honor recognizes restaurants with well-curated wine lists featuring at least 90 selections from quality producers that complement the food menu in both price and style.

La Dame was among 2,010 restaurants worldwide to receive this distinction, showcasing its commitment to delivering an exceptional wine and dining experience at sea. Wine Spectator praised the restaurant for its intimate atmosphere, sustainability focus, gluten-free offerings, and curated wine events and tastings—all set against a backdrop of sweeping ocean views.

The award-winning restaurant currently offers 120 wine selections, supported by a cellar of 3,725 bottles. Its wine list is thoughtfully designed to reflect the French-inspired menu, which aligns with the restaurant’s namesake, the Eiffel Tower—often referred to as “La Dame de Paris.” The result is a refined and immersive dining experience that has become a hallmark of Silversea Cruises.

While this specific award was granted to La Dame aboard Silver Ray, the concept is a signature restaurant found across nearly a dozen Silversea ships. Each location maintains the brand’s standard of culinary excellence, offering guests an upscale and regionally authentic dining experience on every voyage.

This recognition by Wine Spectator solidifies Silversea’s reputation not just for ultra-luxury cruising, but also for delivering world-class dining that rivals leading land-based restaurants.
