Sky River Casino in Calif. has surprise early opening

Sky River Casino in Elk Grove, Calif., had a surprise soft opening on Wednesday, weeks ahead of schedule, although a grand opening is still set for the middle of next month. The $500 million facility has a 110,200-square-foot gaming floor and a variety of dining options, with possible future plans to include a hotel, entertainment venues and pools.
