Skyside, based in Vienna, Austria, has recently expanded its fleet by adding its first Gulfstream G550 aircraft, registered as OE-IKG. This marks the company’s inaugural induction of a jet from Gulfstream Aerospace, enhancing its luxury charter service offerings.

The G550, with a manufacturer’s serial number (msn) of 5259, is 14.3 years old and was previously registered and operated privately in the United States. It was deregistered on July 30, 2024, and embarked on a multi-stop journey from Van Nuys, passing through Long Beach and Bangor International, and stopping in Stuttgart Manfred Rommel, before finally arriving at Oberpfaffenhofen between August 2 and 5, 2024. Skyside has announced that the G550 will be available for charter services, adding a high-end option to its fleet.

Alongside the newly acquired G550, Skyside’s fleet also includes a Falcon 2000EX EASy, a Falcon 2000LX, and a Global 6000. The addition of the Gulfstream jet is expected to bolster Skyside’s capabilities in offering premium, comfortable, and sophisticated air travel solutions to its clients, reflecting the carrier’s commitment to expanding its service and fleet diversity in the competitive aviation market.
