Skyside (SKV, Vienna) has expanded its fleet with the addition of its first Citation Jet 3+, OE-GCN (msn 525B-0696). The 1.7-year-old jet was officially added to the airline’s Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) on January 30, 2025.

Previously operated by Ortac (Jersey) under the registration 2-OTOD, the Citation Jet 3+ was configured for eight passengers. Its last recorded flight with Ortac took place on December 18, 2024, from Rotterdam to Altenrhein, where it has been parked since. Ortac retired its other Citation Jet 3+ in October 2024.

The new jet joins Skyside’s growing fleet, which includes a Global 6000, Falcon 2000EX EASy, Falcon 2000LX, and a Gulfstream G550. The operator has also expanded into cargo operations, launching A321-200(PCF) freighter services in late 2024 via a wet-lease agreement with SmartLynx Airlines Malta.

With this latest addition, Skyside strengthens its position in Austria’s private and business aviation sector, catering to both passenger and cargo markets.

Meanwhile, Ortac now operates five aircraft, including a Falcon 2000LX and four Phenom 300Es, under its Guernsey-based AOC.

The acquisition of the Citation Jet 3+ highlights Skyside’s fleet modernization strategy, reinforcing its commitment to expanding premium charter services.
