SkyWorks Leasing is planning to sell seventeen ex-LATAM Airlines Group aircraft, including eleven A321-200s, four B787-9s, and two A350-900s, in a public auction scheduled for April 14, 2021. The entire complement of jets is currently stored at Victorville airport and will be sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis. Skyworks said the six widebodies were off-lease, while the eleven A321s have been committed back to LATAM on long-term leases due to begin in the second quarter of 2021, subject to bankruptcy court approval. According to the ch-aviation fleets advanced module, excluding undelivered aircraft and stored B737 MAX, the ex-LATAM aircraft are among the youngest units in a pool of 656 aircraft currently stored at the Californian airport.
