Southwest Airlines Expands Nonstop Seasonal Services for Spring Break 2024

Southwest Airlines is encouraging travelers to start planning next year’s spring break vacations and booking their flights starting today, having just extended its flight schedule all the way through April 8, 2024.

Aiming to meet seasonal demand and travel patterns, the airline will add more nonstop options for the busy spring break period, including for travel on peak days when new time-saving nonstop service corresponds with a complementary schedule of daily connecting or same-plane flights.

The airline will step up its service during the spring break season by bringing back key seasonal domestic routes and adding more international service, as well.

Baltimore to Southern Beaches
Southwest is adding brand-new nonstop service on Saturdays, beginning March 9, 2024, between Baltimore/Washington and Belize. On the same day, Baltimore’s biggest airline will also resume seasonal nonstop international service on Saturdays between:

Baltimore and Grand Cayman
Baltimore and Turks and Caicos
Baltimore and Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos
St. Louis to the Seaside

From March 9, Southwest will commence new seasonal nonstop service between St. Louis and Los Cabos, a new route thatcomplements its existing seasonal service between St. Louis and Punta Cana, which is set to resume the same day.

Also on March 9, the carrier will resume its seasonal weekend service between St. Louis and three of Florida’s popular coastal destinations: Palm Beach, Pensacola, and Destin/Fort Walton Beach.

St. Louis residents searching for a fast route to Northern California’s bustling Bay Area will appreciate the restoration of daily nonstop service to San Francisco, starting March 7, 2024.

Away from Austin
Texas travelers will be able to enjoy new nonstop service to the Caribbean starting March 9, with seasonal Saturday flights between Austin and San Juan, Puerto Rico. This service will complement previously announced seasonal nonstop weekly service that starts on the same day between:

Austin and Cozumel, Mexico (Saturdays)
Austin and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (Saturdays and Sundays)
Austin and Panama City, Florida (Saturdays)
Austin and Montrose (Telluride/Crested Butte), Colorado (Saturdays)
Southwest will also resume its nonstop daily service between Austin and Charleston, South Carolina on March 7.
