Southwest Airlines Launches Limited-Time Companion Pass Offer

Southwest Airlines has announced the limited-time return of its Companion Pass offer this spring.

Rapid Rewards members who qualify can designate their companion and travel with them for free, with unlimited usage over six weeks this summer.

To be eligible, members must register for the promotion and purchase a Southwest revenue flight (one round trip or two one-ways) now through Wednesday, April 5 and travel by May 24, 2023. They can then designate a companion to fly for free—taxes and fees from $5.60 one-way are not included—any time between August 15 and September 30, 2023.

“We’re continuously looking for opportunities to appreciate our Rapid Rewards Members, especially with this unique way to earn the coveted Companion Pass. It’s a great way for them to experience the value and many perks of our award-winning loyalty program, as well as our legendary Hospitality.”
