Southwest fetes student who checked in a pool noodle

When a college student checked in a pool noodle to test Southwest Airlines’ free baggage policy — and win a $20 bet — the airline was amused enough by the viral TikTok videos to give her a branded pool noodle when she arrived at the Tampa, Fla., airport for her return flight. Southwest also filled the baggage claim area in Columbus, Ohio, with pool noodles and beach balls prior to her arrival.
