Speakspots, the AI-powered WhatsApp travel assistant, has expanded into the B2B space with a new white-label solution designed for hotels. The announcement was made during the Phocuswright Europe conference in Barcelona, where CEO and founder Andres Martinez Artal shared details of the company’s evolution from a consumer travel planner into a provider of AI-driven guest communication tools.

Originally built to serve individual travelers, Speakspots now boasts more than 50,000 monthly users, primarily in Europe, and supports content for 300 destinations across 68 countries. The company’s expansion into B2B was driven by the need to scale even further, with the goal of eventually covering thousands of destinations globally. To do so, Speakspots is developing partnerships with hotels, especially in rural and secondary destinations where direct traveler guidance is still heavily dependent on local accommodations.

The new B2B product is an AI-powered chatbot that integrates directly with WhatsApp, requiring no downloads for guests. It is built to automate guest interactions and provide seamless recommendations for on-property and local experiences. By using large language models and web scraping technology, the chatbot can answer questions, make restaurant and activity bookings, and even place calls in the guest’s local language—helping to remove language barriers and roaming concerns.

Speakspots designed the white-label AI tool to be scalable and low-cost, aiming to empower small- and medium-sized hotels with limited tech resources. Martinez Artal emphasized that many of the most authentic and locally rooted travel experiences come from small businesses, which often struggle to adopt advanced AI technologies. Speakspots wants to serve as a bridge between tech-savvy digital travelers and the local hospitality providers that make travel memorable.

The AI agents can also connect to hotel documents, websites and internal systems, giving them the ability to deliver customized recommendations and streamline communication. Martinez Artal noted that hotels remain a primary entry point for exploring destinations, especially in less-traveled regions, making them ideal partners for AI-powered planning and service.

By offering a platform that meets travelers on the apps they already use, Speakspots is aligning modern user behavior with the digital transformation needs of the hospitality industry. With its new B2B tool, the company hopes to make generative AI accessible to independent hotels and enhance the guest experience at scale, all while reducing operational workload for property staff.
