The Directorate General of Civil Aviation in India has launched an investigation into an incident that occurred at Mumbai International Airport.

An Emirates A380 aircraft was taxiing at the airport when a jet blast from the plane’s engine propelled a baggage trolley into a stationary SpiceJet plane.

The SpiceJet Boeing 737 was damaged and required maintenance before it was released to service. Jet blast, which is created by powerful jet engines, is capable of damaging infrastructure and causing harm to ground personnel.
