Spiffed-up icon Claremont graces Acadia National Park

The 137-year-old Claremont hotel in Maine’s Acadia National Park sports a new and colorful look this season thanks to the makeover locally based lodging entrepreneur Tim Harrington undertook after acquiring the property last year. Highlights include renovated guestrooms in a variety of bright decors, and replacement of one of the hotel’s historic croquet greens with a swimming pool.
