Spirit Airlines offers Elite Status match for members of 32 other programs
Through its new partnership announced today with StatusMatch.com, ultra-low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines is offering a fast-track way for frequent flyers to enjoy the best benefits of its ‘Free Spirit’ elite member status loyalty program.
Spirit’s most loyal guests who’ve earned Free Spirit Status get rewarded with enhanced flexibility and other valuable perks; such as free carry-on and checked baggage, complimentary in-flight snacks and beverages, seat selection, waived pet fees, Zone 1 boarding and other valuable benefits.
Through StatusMatch.com, travelers who hold elite member status with over 30 other loyalty programs can submit an application to be given Free Spirit Gold or Free Spirit Silver Status for one year.
Currently, guests who are verified as having frequent traveler status with 16 airline and 16 hotel loyalty programs across the Americas are eligible to apply for a status match with Spirit. You can view the full list of qualifying airline and hotel programs included in this limited-time offer, as well as apply online at Spirit.StatusMatch.com.
“Spirit offers convenient, nonstop routes for Guests who are regularly crisscrossing the country, and we’re excited to offer road warriors the opportunity to continue enjoying the benefits they’re accustomed to while flying Spirit,” said Rana Ghosh, Vice President of Omnichannel Sales at Spirit Airlines. “We’re incredibly proud of our Free Spirit program, which offers Gold and Silver members a long list of perks on every flight.”
Customers can invest $49 to match Free Spirit Silver Status and begin enjoying enviable benefits like shortcut security, shortcut boarding, overweight baggage fee waivers, redemption fee waivers, same-day standby and more.
Alternatively, for a promotional-rate investment of $99, guests can elevate themselves to Free Spirit Gold Status, which includes all the Silver Status benefits, as well as free carry-on and checked bags, Flight Flex modification charge protection, free seat selection at booking, and a complimentary in-flight snack and beverage.
“With many airlines and hotels downgrading elite members, this is a great opportunity for members of the eligible airline and hotel programs to switch to Spirit Airlines,” said Mark Ross-Smith, CEO of StatusMatch.com. “This is an amazing value for frequent travelers. We encourage eligible travelers to compare the affordable investment of the status match with the great benefits associated with Free Spirit Status.”
